'Khalid's rivalry with Azman getting in the way of a probe on Hasan Ali's spending'

Kalau nak tahu AA, waktu Pemilihan KEADILAN 2010, TSKI & Faekah telah menawarkan bantuan kpd Mustafa Kamil Ayub untuk tumbangkan AA...Maka lahirlah GAZA a.k.a. Gerakan Anti Zuraidah dan Azmin.  Adakah itu sebabnya MKA ni kekal jadi BoD Perangsang? Bukankah TSKI hampir nak bertanding jawatan Timbalan Presiden?
(The Star) - Selangor MCA state liaison committee secretary Wong Koon Mun accused Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim of allowing the prolonged bad blood between Khalid and Azmin Ali (PKR-Bukit Antarabangsa) to get in the way of public interest by overlooking Azmin's allegations of Datuk Dr Hasan Ali's lavish spending during his tenure in the state government.
“Khalid is willing to forgo uncovering how rate-payers' taxes may have been overspent by turning a blind eye on Hasan for the sake of not aligning with his rival within PKR, Azmin Ali,” said the Kuala Kubu Baru assemblyman in a statement Monday.
He added that Khalid's delay in ordering a probe was also to obscure his failing to notice that Hasan had spent lavishly and he did not want Azmin to steal the spotlight from him.
“He would rather Hasan get away with it than see Azmin receive accolades for his expos on Hasan,” he said.
On March 23, Azmin had alleged that former exco member Hasan had splashed RM300,000 on office renovations and RM500,000 for a conference.
Azmin also said that Hasan had disobeyed the state government's policy of not having direct negotiation on state contract for road maintenance but to go through an open tender by directly submitting 83 names to JKR Selangor.
“Khalid Ibrahim's announcement that he “feels there is no cause to take action against the spending because it follows Treasury procedures” is bizarre considering that PKR and Pakatan Rakyat always brag about clean government and ethical practices,” said Wong.
He also said that while the two could have their differences within the party, it should remain there and not spill over to the public sphere.
“Considering that Hasan's expenditure and directly awarding road maintenance contracts involve public monies, the Selangor MB and his exco should prioritise the rakyat's welfare first,” he said.
He accused the Pakatan state government of playing up the politics of hypocrisy, citing numerous prior cases that had not been fully dealt with like the illegal sand mining in Selangor and letterhead from exco Ronnie Liu's office misused to give support to a former Klang councillor's relative's firm.
